Sending holiday cards is one of my favorite things about the holiday season, right up there with drinking eggnog and trimming the tree. As most of you know, I love all the at-home aspects of the holidays--time spent with family around the fireplace, listening to holiday music in my pajamas--but I despise the aspects that require me to fight crowds at a retail establishment. Which is why I am thrilled about getting my holiday cards this year from Shutterfly. All I have to do is select a card, upload a photo or two, and wait for the cards to arrive on my doorstep. Then, I can get a mug of peppermint cocoa and address cards to all my favorite people! Easy as (pumpkin) pie!
The hard part is choosing a card. Do I want something classic? Something bright and cheerful? Something lighthearted? The Shutterfly collection of Christmas cards is phenomenal, and I seriously don't know how I am going to choose. They also have a great selection of holiday invitations, Hanukkah cards, and New Year's cards (about half the time I send New Year's cards just because I think it is equally as fun as sending holiday cards, plus I love the later deadline).
We often select cards with a Peace message and there are quite a number of Peace cards in the Shutterfly lineup, including this fun pastel flat card.
I would hate to be one of those people who sends a beach-themed card, reminding people in colder climates that I am currently wearing a pair of flip-flops. But! It's true! I can't help it that I'm a California Girl living on the Central Coast! (Maybe it's better not to brag. Too much, anyway.)
Finally, I am loving the collection of LIVESTRONG cards. Shutterfly will donate 10% of net sales from each LIVESTRONG card purchase back to the organization. They also have a collection supporting Heifer International, a great charity that we donated to in 2007, and the American Lung Association. This might be our card, just because I am a sucker for a good cause.

I say you go with the Happy Healthy Holiday card. It is for a good cause after all. Plus, it is simple yet cute!
