I've given you this recipe before, but it's very much worth repeating.
I discovered it on my birthday trip to Las Vegas and ordered it based solely on the name. I can assure you, it lives up to the name and would be a perfect New Year's Eve cocktail.
4 oz gin
Juice of 1/2 lemons
2 tsp powdered sugar
Chilled Champagne
Shake gin, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a highball glass over two ice cubes. Fill with chilled champagne, stir, and serve.
Yum! I love gin and lemon and champagne... I am going to have to try this one!

Oooh, I had one of these on Christmas! (Except it was called a Sapphire 75 and my husband made it a Sapphire 75 Lite because I'm pregnant and while I don't shun ALL alcohol while pregnant, I definitely don't think I need all that gin. So, he made it with a splash of gin and the rest with champers.)
Either way, YUM.

Yum! Wonder if it would work with vodka?

Oh I was trying to find a recipe for that after we had them at our 1920s Christmas party. I should have been better at blogging in December. :-)
I ended up making a cocktail with sparkling wine, cranberry juice and contreau. Very yum!

It's easy to miss these popups if you are in combat or doing a lot of clicking. You can either stroke your kitten, or play with it.
