I was browsing Anthropologie's site, coveting all the new fall dresses, when I came across this photo:
Cute, right?
But then a commenter on the page got my feathers ruffled when she wrote:
Walking next to bicycle does not make an outfit appropriate for a bike ride. I'm confused about the models in these photos.Pardon me?
Number 15 on the list of Ways to Know You Have Bicycle Culture: Your entire wardrobe can be classified as "cycle wear." Especially those stilettos from Christian Louboutin or your new double-breasted trenchcoast from Tiger of Sweden.
Y'all I bike in 99 percent of my wardrobe and the ONLY reason I haven't biked in my Jessica McClintock formal or Oleg Cassani full length skirt is that I haven't been presented with the opportunity.
I'm totally bringing my Jessica McClintock with me when I come. Can I borrow Will's bike so we can go get ice cream?

Yes! That would be SO fun! Let's do it!

Very cool outfit, but I'm afraid it would all be ruined by a cycle helmet.
Oh and my bike has weird things under the seat that dig into my flabby thighs - I get so sore and raw from it, I was forced to go out and buy bike shorts to protect myself.
