Cycle Wear

I was browsing Anthropologie's site, coveting all the new fall dresses, when I came across this photo:

Cute, right?

But then a commenter on the page got my feathers ruffled when she wrote:

Walking next to bicycle does not make an outfit appropriate for a bike ride. I'm confused about the models in these photos.

Number 15 on the list of Ways to Know You Have Bicycle Culture: Your entire wardrobe can be classified as "cycle wear." Especially those stilettos from Christian Louboutin or your new double-breasted trenchcoast from Tiger of Sweden.

Y'all I bike in 99 percent of my wardrobe and the ONLY reason I haven't biked in my Jessica McClintock formal or Oleg Cassani full length skirt is that I haven't been presented with the opportunity.

Very cool outfit, but I'm afraid it would all be ruined by a cycle helmet.

Oh and my bike has weird things under the seat that dig into my flabby thighs - I get so sore and raw from it, I was forced to go out and buy bike shorts to protect myself.
