oh my gosh this is such a good idea! I might have to do my own blog post like this!

Let's see

I have stood gazing at the Golden Gate Bridge

I have stood at the top of the Eiffel Tower (but the fake one in Vegas!)

I have stood in front of the Statue of Liberty

I have stood in the sand of a Maui beach & said my wedding vows

I have stood in front of the Butter Cow at the Iowa State Fair

I have stood at a Britney Spears concert

I have stood at the top of the Space Needle and the Empire State Building (like Janet!)

I have stood in line way too long to ride a rollercoaster

Cute idea!

I have stood...

... on a stage singing in front of over 500 people.
... next to Elvis -- I mean Elvis' wax figure in Vegas :)

and I can't think of any other cool spots... but I'll be sure to add if I do!

Most memorable places I have stood...
- on the Great Wall of China
- at the top of the tallest building in Tokyo, and later Shanghai
- on the border between North and South Korea in the DMZ
- Ely, Nevada (If you get the chance to go here - DON'T)

Cindy D.

-on top of the Empire State Building and the cupola at the Vatican
-straddling the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez
-at the Temple of Apollo in Pompeii
-at the graves of Marilyn Monroe and Natalie Wood
-on the cliffs of Big Sur

oh fun!

--on the Golden Gate, the Ponte Vecchio, and the Rialto Bridges
-- at the top of the Empire State Building and the Eiffel Tower
--on the steps of the Sydney Opera House and on a lonely island in Fiji
--in the mural room of the Santa Barbara Courthouse
--in a backless gown begging for an epidural (twice)

LOVE this. Want to do it on my own blog. Too sleepy to make a list right now, but wanted to comment to beg you to PLEASE change your reader format so when reading your blog on google reader more than just a preview comes up. I do most of my blog reading during down time at work and typepad is blocked at my office, which means I can't read yours, which is one of my favorites! I've been missing your quirky cute posts, and could enjoy your blog if more than a preview showed up on google reader.
Please, pretty in pink please?? :)

Hi Rae,

I completely appreciate your feelings on the issue. However, I have had several copyright issues in the past year or so and syndication feeds make it much easier for others to steal content. I currently don't have time to monitor my copyright by issuing DMCA take down notices and so on and a partial feed helps reduce the need to do so. After I take the Bar Exam at the end of the month and have more time, I will revisit the issue!

Memorable places I have stood:

-On The Great Wall of China.
-On Mt. Seorak, South Korea.
-In front of the Kremlin in Moscow.
-At the base of Mother Russia in Volgograd (formerly Stalingrad).
-On Cannon Beach, at least fifty times.
-In front of the Capitol Building in Washington D.C.
-On Navy Pier in Chicago.
-In the Lower 9th Ward in New Orleans.
-On curvaceous Lombard Street in San Francisco.
-Next to my sister as she took her wedding vows.
-Underneath the biggest LED light display in the world (in Beijing).
-Close enough to see Tom Petty perspire.
