{One morning I found an email in my box from David Shedd, Publisher and Senior Editor of Eastern Slopes. Like me, he majored in Art History and, like me, he enjoys a good sangria. He sent along a recipe for "Laurie's Most Awesome Sangria," which he says you absolutely must make with Almaden Mountain Burgundy from a box.}
Brandy - 2 shots (Christan Bros or E and J)
Orange Curaco - 2 shots (Orange Triple Sec works)
Sangria Wine - 2 cups
Splash OJ (maybe 2 shots)
Pinaeapple Juice - 6 oz can
Cranberry Juice - 1 cup
Sour mix - 1 shot
Few drops of Bitters
Serve over ice with fresh oranges or other fruit.
Cheers!
I've heard that box wine is the way to go for sangria from multiple sources, actually. Good to know it's good for something besides holding the door open!

You had me at brandy. And I completely concur about the box wine... no point using good wine in a mixed drink either. :D
