Per your previous suggestion ... almost through 1L. Fabulous.

Oops .. also working on Call me Ted (autobiography of Ted Turner). Amazing. Not a fan of Ted Turner, but a fabulous read and could actually sway me!

I love the library!

I'm working my way through Ruth Reichl's memoirs. I'm gonna be sad when they're done. On Garlic & Sapphires now. They're great, and quick reads!

I just read A Tree Grows in Brooklyn for my book club, and it was amazing!

another one working through "a confederacy of dunces." having lived in mississippi for ten years, i love that it takes place in new orleans. plus, the characters are quite colorful! love, love, love your blog.

I'm planning on buying Commencement on Tuesday, after really liking the excerpt I read through the NYT review. I'm also thinking about participating in Infinite Summer, so I can finally get past the first twenty pages of Infinite Jest. Currently I'm working my way through What Einstein Told His Cook by Robert Wolke and The Gum Thief by Douglas Coupland.

Recently read, and highly recommended: Netherland by Joseph O'Neill, American Wife by Curtis Sittenfeld, and I'm Down by Mishna Wolff.

Two thumbs up for libraries!

I (like a crack whore) am working my way through the Twilight series.

Nickel and Dimed was good. And depressing.

i have been such a book nut lately, it's amazing. i read on my lunch break and it's a great escape from the work day, i highly recommend it.
