Operation Pink Herring needs to decide how to style her hair for her upcoming wedding. She's against a formal up-do, but can't decide whether to wear it up or down or half-up, half down.
I decide: wear it back in a not-too-formal, soft, pretty style.
Something like this:
Weddings are long affairs. You'll have to get ready and then take photos and then get married and then take photos and then eat some food and then shake hands and then dance for many hours, all while taking many photos. Hair styled back just seems to hold up better for long hours.
I love these loose, lovely styles:
Maybe you prefer a retro touch:
Plus, a July wedding in Baltimore demands hair off-the-neck! My wedding was on a summer day in August, and I am glad I wore my hair back. I didn't really have any sort of plan for my hair before arriving at my salon, but my fabulous stylist whipped up a lovely low bun with a butterfly perched on the side.
{Photos in this post are from Meg Perotti, Zoom Photography, and Aaron Elesie. Oh, and my photographer, but you don't want to hire them unless you are looking to get your photos about two years after you say "I Do."}
I agree!! Baltimore is a humid swamp that time of year. Get it off your neck and keep it simple.
