Nicole posted a prompt whereby we are supposed to list 40 things that happened in the last month and then look back and discuss our favorite.
I can never follow a program precisely, so following are 40 things that have happened so far in June, a task that took decidedly longer than I anticipated. Furthermore, being too indecisive to choose one favorite among the list, I propose this: if there is anything you need to know more about, please say so in the comments and I will prepare an extended discussion after which you will officially know everything about my life. Well, almost.
So far this June, I have:
- Made orange creamsicle smoothies.
- Ordered bananagrams.
- Went to the post office at least four times.
- Watched Maxed Out.
- Visited the local library.
- Bought delicious strawberries at the Farmer’s Market.
- Found Will’s missing wallet. It was at Wendy's.
- Studied rural drug addiction.
- Started reading Confessions of an Economic Hit Man.
- Watched all three seasons of Arrested Development.
- Witnessed a game-winning grand slam.
- Sewed some fabric birds.
- Ate at Chipotle. Four times. So far.
- Had some picnic dinners in the park.
- Shared a bottle of wine with Mary.
- Met friends for coffee.
- Saw Indiana Jones, which was bad. Really bad.
- Edited things on Wikipedia.
- Watched Walmart: The High Cost of Low Prices.
- Went on a 15 mile bike ride.
- Found a nearby fruit stand that makes incredible fruit freezes.
- Listened to some live music.
- Met up with some old robotics friends for lunch.
- Bought some Spotted Dick pudding.
- Wrote some memos.
- Bought a new mop.
- Baked banana bread.
- Ruined a batch of brownies.
- Baked a replacement batch of brownies.
- Slept in. And in. And in. And in.
- Called the number on the back of receipts to get free things.
- Neglected the 10 minute clean up.
- Ate free popcorn.
- Watched the Lakers lose.
- Walked to the gas station to get Strawberry Shortcake bars.
- Bought fabric to sew an A's jersey for my cat.
- Went to the Outlet Mall. Bought nothing.
- Wore skirts and dresses.
- Made mint ice cubes.
- Drank beer at Sophia's Thai Kitchen.
all those things are so you

Wow, you are so crafty! I would love to hear the recipe for your orange creamsicle smoothies.
And Indiana Jones was bad? How disappointing! I've been looking forward to seeing it.

Sounds like quite a busy month! But it doesn't surprise me. You always seem to be up to something fun. :)

My goodness, your post has opened my eyes.
- I clicked on the links for bananagrams and Maxed Out and think I might have to try both.
- I am now a registered member of Ms. JD (I was the president of the women's group at my law school! and didn't even know about this group...I've passed it on to the new president).
- I am also interested in both the economic hit man and the walmart video.
Thanks for the ideas!!! (I also might be doing this 40 things I've done this month...so keep a look out!)
