I found a recipe over at The Pioneer Woman Cooks that requires only two ingredients: a tube of refrigerated cookie dough and a bag of candy.
Sounds like my kind of recipe.
The Pioneer Woman walks you through the process step-by-step with many beautiful photographs, but suffice it to say, you put some cookie dough into a mini muffin pan, you bake for 6 to 8 minutes (which is not, I repeat NOT, what the cookie package instructs you to do), and then you press in some little candies while the cookies are still hot from the oven.
Melty, peanut-buttery yumminess.
Also, I would like to point out that this is the first use of the deluxe mini muffin pan that I purchased drunk at a Pampered Chef party in July 2006. I lost the recipe book that came with the pan, but if the only thing the pan ever makes is these delicious cookies, IT WILL HAVE BEEN WORTH IT.
Even at Pampered Chef prices.
Yummy!!!

I'm pretty sure that my husband would LOVE these, even if they come from my cheapo Walmart mini muffin pan.

I have so many pampered chef pieces. And all of them are unused! And whoever first combined peanut butter and chocolate was a genius! xo

Ohhhhh yessss - these are a Farmhouse Favorite. I'll add them to the same section with Pumpkin Dip.

shoot, I think I could make that! And I have the same unused muffin tin just waiting for me to try this "recipe" out.

Oooh, those look divine. Plus she said you can use any type of cookie dough. Experimenting with that most certainly will not suck.
Also, I am seemingly immune to Pampered Chef parties and I have no idea how that happened.

I love Pampered Chef. But I love it because I am lazy and I want that stupid food chopper, so I had a party to get it for FREE! haha. They suck you in, I tell you.

Those look so delicious. I might have to try to make some even though I'm a walking disaster in the kitchen.
P.S. New here. Loving the site :)

Too funny, I've got the same pan and don't think I've ever used it, now I've got something to make in it.

How simple is that? If today was not the day that I tried not to be fat anymore, I'd go try it. lol May have to use it on a cheat day.

I bought the same mini-muffin pan under the influence years ago at a Pampered Chef party (my least fave sort of party). I was talked into it bc I could make tartlettes and mini-muffin baskets for friends. Do you know I have never ever baked a full size muffin let alone a mini-muffin and never have I had occasion to make a tartlette.
Now these cookies I can handle!! Thanks for sharing.

My mom makes these from scratch. This seems much easier!
