This cake was baked for me by two of my students, one of whom got a Kitchenaid Mixer for Christmas (is that not the cutest thing ever?). It is a chocolate cake with strawberry filling and I want to keep it forever, that's how beautiful it is. So far the bottom layer has been eaten and it was so delicious that the top two layers probably won't make it past tomorrow.
That is some taaaasty lookin' cake. Good thing pictures are forever.

Happy Birthday!
(Are you SURE you still want to go to law school? I don't think you get cakes like that in law school :))

Happy Birthday!
It is definitely the cutest thing ever that your student received a mixer for her birthday and then decided to make you a fantabulous, yummy cake. I second Janet on this one: perhaps the merit of cake-making skills should go into the law school decision process...
Hope you have a great day!

Wow, that's impressive - both the cake and that a teenager got a KitchenAide mixer for Christmas. How funny. Yet cool. I love the colors of frosting, too.

And you're giving up all these gifts to become a lawyer? How could you? That's a very special birthday gift, indeed. :)
