I used to play a version of that (we had no board game; we made up the categories and chose a letter randomly) in my ESL classes. It was fun and challenging for everyone.

Useless trivia: the French call that game "baccalauréat," same as their high school diploma. :)

Fun game. We use to play games like that in my night school class. It was interpersonal communications class, so I suppose it was somewhat class related. That and Bolderdash we also played.

How fun! I don't think my students would have ever gone for Scattergories. Jeopardy was complicated enough! xoxo

My college daughter came home and we sat at a great Manhattan restaurant for lunch and pulled out a portable scrabble game and played.
We love games. We have never stopped playing them.
Today's game: If you had to lose one of your senses, which would it be? If you could only have one, which would it be.
Lots of fun.
Cheers.
