Since we don’t have television, we hardly ever see movie previews. Sometimes I watch them at the Apple website but, for the most part, I choose a movie based on the movie poster which is basically like judging a book by its cover. I judge books by their covers anyway so I am pretty much okay with this arrangement.
Today I was looking at the new movie posters and I’m sorry, but, what?
Um, is this the same movie? Are the movie people out of new ideas? Or does everyone just hire the same Photoshop guy?
Yeah, if you're picking movies based on the posters, I don't know what to tell you. Those two movies probably couldn't be farther apart. One is just pretty people jumping in the water and the other one is the screen adaptation of Joss Whedon's show Firefly.

Yeah, didn't you know it's like a requirement that the movie poster, regardless of the premise, must have a sexy looking lady and strikingly handsome guy (the more sweaty and dirty the better) on it? With the exception of Disney movies, of course.:-)

I dearly love Jessica Alba and Paul Walker's expressions on that Into The Blue poster. Very "WTF?"

Serenity's doing twice as well as Into The Blue. Photoshop guy really screwed up on that right one huh? What could it be, the different colour of night, the misty flash that separates the two?

i think both of the posters suck. but serenity is good.

I just came across your blog and saw this post under "Posts you might also like." If you still, four years later, have not seen Serenity, do. It is a fantastic film. :)
