I get that same feeling with ferris wheels. But I love the ferris wheel in Santa Monica, so I deal with it when we're there. :p

I feel the same way. It's something about waiting for me. Once I get on and start, I'm usually fine (or once the roller coaster crests the hill). But the waiting? It kills :-/

Love this pic! Is it yours?

It is, Michelle! Do you want a copy for your places-you've-been wall? =)

What a great little list unsettling things! My mom used to say something like, "If you're never nervous, you're not doing it right." I think it's healthy to have those scary-but-not-really things enter our lives every once in a while!

Yes ;)

OMG I was on that same ferris wheel on Friday, and took a similar pic (http://season-with-love.blogspot.com/2011/04/fill-in-blank-friday.html). I'd been begging my husband to go on it for the past two years. So fun!

I feel the ferris wheel way about public speaking, too!! But I love ferris wheels - my apprehension is probably directed more towards the rollercoaster!

Cool picture BTW!!!

vibram five fingers

it certainly would never stop me from going for a ride
