Pounding
Last night, Kathryn and I shared a big ass pitcher of beer downtown and then rode our bikes home in the middle of the night.
This morning, I woke up at 7:00 in the morning to the sound of a jackhammer tearing up the street directly outside my bedroom window.
There should so be a law against running heavy machinery before 10 am during spring break.

no doubt there should be a law! Down here in Palmdale, there is business construction that starts at 4 a.m.!!!!!! Uuuugh all the neighborhood dogs barking!
By the way I love the eggheads at your campus!

Oh, ewwwww. That blows. I totally feel your pain... in the duplex I used to live in, there were new houses being built directly next to us and also directly across the street from us. Apparently there's some bylaw that allows residential construction to start at 7 am on weekdays, 8 am on Saturdays, and not at all on Sundays. And apparently they took that to mean 5 am on weekdays, 7 am on Saturdays, and 9 am on Sundays. GRRRRRR.

That sucks. I took a one week vacation last summer to Siesta Key Beach...construction on a condo that was going up NEXT DOOR started no later than 7:00 a.m. every morning. I feel your pain.

I think the words "big ass" really sum this post up. :-) And dontcha think bigass should be one continuous word?
