We're Engaged!
On our second wedding anniversary, over two years ago, I jokingly told y'all to check back in 2007 if you wanted to see some wedding photographs.
Due to a disastrous relationship with our wedding photographer, who basically went out of business and nearly caused me to file a claim with a court of law, it really did take over four years to get any of our photos.
The good news is that, rather than the photographers just sending us a leather book with 30 8x10 images, I convinced them to send us the digital files. All the digital files. All, like, 800 of them. And I am going to share them with you! Are you excited? Is anyone still here? Mom?
We'll start with our engagement session, which was nearly 5 years ago. We hadn't even started using eye cream to minimize the wrinkles.
Beware: the photos are sappy enough to be used for the cover art of an As-Seen-On-TV Love Song Compilation CD. You probably want to get a tall glass of water to wash down all the sugar.
WOW, I need to go brush my teeth after that.
You really are wonderful together, I can see Steve Jobs using those photos in his next demo of iPhotos slideshow abilities.

Yay for digital files! We chose a photographer based on the fact that we didn't want an album, so we got the digital ones AND the rights. Score. I'm looking forward to seeing pictures from your lemony wedding!

Ohhh, CUTE! A photographer friend of ours will be doing our engagement shots, and probably wedding... we don't want an album either, and she's totally willing to do just digital. (Well, I do want an album, but more of a scrapbook that I'll make!)

gak you weren't kidding! you two are too attractive for a love song compilation though, it's more like a herpes medication commercial.
some great shots though! i really like the one where you are standing by the water with his hands on your waist and you are laughing at something he is saying.

OMG What a nightmare. The photographer was actually one of our fave vendors and that's all I really wanted from him ... digital files on disc. My mom thot this was such a bad idea. She was all afraid that they could get lost too easily or something if they were digital (!?!?) and wanted us to find a photographer that shot on film. Now she's glad I stood my ground. ;)

SO I went to the movies tonight, and asked the people about Across the Universe and they said the Director hasn't decided which format he wants to release it in. So eventually it will be widley released! Thank the Lord!

The dress is from J. Crew. They come out with the same dress every summer in a variety of colors.
It is actually on clearance right now for the amazing price of $39.99, down from $98! It looks like there are lots of sizes available still so hurry on over everybody!
