I just had a mini-heart attack because I have roles of stamps that I bought in December, and I didn't know about the increase. Did you know they don't put the value on the stamps? Pretty sneaky game they play.

Lesli

It does feel like it wasn't very well publicized! Are your letters still getting there, or are they coming back????

Maya

Yeah, I had a bunch of work stuff not go through b/c of that. Sneaky buggers!

ally bean

lol. I'd be using the wrong postage except that my very aware husband knew about the increase and told me. Are your letters being returned to you?

shannon

Yeah go ahead and buy the forever stamps. Whey they didn't come out with these forever ago I'll never know.

Malia Liermann

My hubby works for the post office and he didn't even know when they were going up.

Nothing has been returned to me. Whether the stuff made it to the destinations or not is the question, I guess.

Kari

You and me both my friend. You and me both...

Laura

Oh, I ended up thinking it was May 1st that the price went up, not the 14th, and ended up wasting a bunch of 2 cent stamps. Stupid me for thinking I well informed. Apparently not.

Yes, it was a very sneaky attack that happened on a random Tuesday in May. I don't think they said anything to anyone really other than having stories about maybe raising the prices, which appeared in newspapers. I went to mail a package, as usual, and the lady told me I had to pay twenty cents extra for it because it didn't "bend". I asked her since when and she said it was a new restriction imposed with the stamp price increase. So be careful. They added all these inconspicuous rules as well.

alfredsmom

I love those stamps!

jessica

NO YOU ARE NOT! I'M DOING IT TOO!

I hope all my bills don't come back to me . . .
